Africa Day 2011 Celebrated in New York

More than 600 top dignitaries from the African Union and the United Nations, NGOs, their families and friends gathered for the 48th celebration of Africa Day at the Manhattan Center in New York on May 31st, 2011, with the innovative theme “Africa and the Diaspora” recognizing the contributions of tens of millions of Africans now living outside their native homeland.

Africa Day Celebrated in Georgia

Tbilisi, Georgia - UPF-Georgia and volunteers from Cote d’Ivoire organized park cleaning project in Tbilisi near the Tbilisi Sea area on May 25. It was the first time for Africans to participate in such program in Georgia, and they were grateful to have such opportunity.
